The non-profit Centre for Research and Information (CRI) said they would release the third part of the book in four colours titled ‘Mujib’, on Sunday.

State minister for energy and power Nasrul Hamid, who is also a trustee of the organisation, will release the book at the CRI’s Ekusehy Book Fair stall 1OO and 1O1 in the afternoon.

The first part was launched in March 2O15. It was, in fact, the first graphic novel of Bangladesh.

The CRI said it would publish 12 parts in stages narrating the founding father Bangladesh’s experiences in social and political arenas beginning from childhood, and the various aspects of the Bengali’s struggle for freedom.

Sheikh Mujib was born on Mar 17, 1920, at Tungiparha in Gopalganj, Bangladesh that emerged as an independent country in 1971 following a long struggle led by him.

He began writing his autobiography at the bidding of his wife and comrades while being held in the Dhaka Central Jail in 1967. But the work remained incomplete.

Forty-four years later that unfinished autobiography was published at the initiative of his elder daughter Sheikh Hasina, the prime minister of Bangladesh.
