Sunny is currently behind the bars in this case filed by a 21-year-old woman who claims she is Sunny's wife.

Bangladesh Cyber Crime Tribunal's magistrate Saiful Islam passed the order on Tuesday after the plaintiff opposed the plea, said her lawyer Kamal Uddin.

He said court rejected the bail plea as the forensic report on 'the pictures used by Sunny to blackmail the complainant' is yet to reach the court.

According to the plaintiff, Sunny and she secretly tied the knot in 2014 following a love affair. Sometimes later, she asked Sunny to officially take her to his home but Sunny remained reluctant.

Advocate Kamal Uddin said his client and Sunny lived in a rented house and went abroad together after marriage.

In June last year, Sunny opened a fake account on Facebook and threatened her by sending photos of their private moments via messenger.

On Jan 5, the girl started a case under the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Act at Mohammadpur Police Station. The matter became public on Jan 22.

On Jan 23, she started another case accusing Sunny of torturing her for Tk 2 million dowry.

On Feb 1, she started another case under Women and Children Repression Prevention Act in which Sunny was denied bail on Feb 12 by Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Court.
