Government promotes 235 officers to additional superintendent of police
The government has promoted 235 senior assistant superintendents of police to additional SP with immediate effect.

The home ministry issued a circular on Wednesday saying the promotion will be effective immediately.
However, the promotion of the officers, who are working in UN's peacekeeping mission or on study leave, will be effective when they return to their workplace, it added.
