Chapainawabganj Additional District and Sessions Judge Md Ziaur Rahman delivered the verdict on Wednesday in the seven-year-old cases.

The convicts are 28-year-old ‘Momin’ and 31-year-old Ramzan Ali.

Momin was on the dock on Wednesday while Ali is currently at large, said Prosecutor Jabedul Haque.

According to the case documents, police arrested ‘Momin’ from Shibganj Upazila’s Kharagpur in June 2009 in possession of five bullets, materials used to manufacture fire arms and jihadist literature.

Based on information gleaned from Momin, police raided on Ali’s home, but he managed to escape.

A firearm and three rounds of ammunition were found during the raid.
