Sundarbans-based gang of robbers surrender to RAB
A gang of robbers, operating in the Sundarbans, has surrendered to the Rapid Action Battalion in Barisal.

Barisal-based RAB 8 Deputy Director Adnan Kabir said 12 robbers of the 'Khokababu Bahini' led by Md Kabirul Islam alias Khokababu surrendered weapons to Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan on Monday at the headquarters in Barisal city.
He said the gang of robbers surrendered with 22 fire arms and more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition.
The minister said government would provide legal support to those willing to quit criminal activities and lead a normal life.
RAB Director General Benazir Ahmed said all gangs of robbers would be eventually neutralised across the country.
