Two suspected militants of Ansarullah Bangla Team have been arrested in the Chittagong road area near Dhaka’s Kanchpur Bridge, says RAB.

The two detainees have been identified as 27-year-old Md Abbas Ali and 22-year-old Sabbir Hossain Saju.
The two were arrested around 1:30 am on Tuesday morning, said RAB-11 Captain Kamrul Hassan.
Abbas Ali hailed from Mymensingh and claimed to work at a Gazipur clothing factory, Captain Kamrul told bdnews24.com
“Ali was the coordinator of a small branch of Ansarullah Bangla Team,” Kamrul said. “He was in charge of recruitment and fundraising.”
Sabbir Hossain Saju hailed from Rangpur and had a photo studio there.
RAB believes Sabbir was chosen to handle internet communication between members of the group because he was proficient with technology.
“We are investigating any ties the two may have to political parties or terrorist attacks,” said Kamrul.
