The Supreme Court's chamber judge Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain heard the plea on Sunday.

But it did not pass any order, which means the bail granted by High Court to the Cox's Bazar lawmaker has been upheld.

On Nov 2, Dhaka's Special Judge's Court delivered the verdict in the graft case against the ruling party MP.

Badi has been found guilty of concealing wealth information from the ACC, for which he was sentenced to a three-year prison term and fined Tk 1 million.

But the court acquitted him of the charges of acquiring wealth beyond his knownsources of income.

Badi challenged the verdict in the High Court and secured a six-month interim bail.

On Thursday, the ACC moved the High Court challenging the acquittal and the Supreme Court's chamber judge for staying the bail.
