Police to grill Dinajpur child rape accused for seven days
A Dinajpur court has granted police seven days to grill in custody a person accused of raping a 5-year old girl.

Senior Judicial Judge Krishna Kamal Roy granted the remand of Saiful Islam on Thursday.
The child went missing from in front of her house in Parbotipur Upazila on Oct 18. She was found bloodstained at a field on the following day. She is undergoing treatment in Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
After her father filed a case against Saiful, 42, and Afazal Hossain Kabiraj, 48, of Singimari Jamirhat village on Oct 20, police arrested Saiful on Oct 24. Kabiraj is still absconding.
Dinajpur Court Police Inspector Shaheed Suhrawardy said police produced Saiful before the court on Oct 25 and sought the remand. The judge set Thursday to hear the remand petition.
