Suspected robber killed in Laxmipur ‘shootout’
A suspected robber has been killed in what Laxmipur police described as a 'shootout.'

The incident took place at village in Raipur Upazila early on Monday.
Raipur police OC Lokman Hossain said Delwar Hossain Rajon, who he claims led a gang of robbers, was arrested around 10pm on Sunday from the Keroya Village.
Police took him along on a raid to recover arms, when Rajon's accomplices opened fire, said OC Hossain.
“Rajon was hit during the shootout and was taken to the local hospital.
"He was later transferred to the Laxmipur Sadar Hospital where the doctors declared him dead,” he said.
