Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) published the photos (Parental guidance is advised for juveniles to see the photo of bloodied bodies) on their Facebook page at the early hours on Monday.

They urged people to send additional information on the persons in the photos, if any, to the inbox of their page.

Seven suspected militants had been gunned down when the counter-terrorism unit raided the house at Gazipur's Patartek.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said the dead 'militants' were all members of the 'Neo-JMB' and that they included the incumbent leader of the group, Faridul Islam Akash.

Police, however, did not identify Akash among the photos it released on the social media.

It said in the Facebook post that they have found that militants go by several aliases and urged people to come up with any information available on them.

Gazipur police said they have found three Pakistan-made pistols, over hundred rounds of bullets for those and casings of around a hundred .22 bore rifle bullets.

On Sunday, police filed a case under the Arms Act.

The bodies of the seven suspected militants have been kept at the Shahid Tajuddin Medical College Hospital.

In another raid within half a kilometre of the house on Saturday, RAB gunned down two suspected militants the same day at the city's Hahrinal.

In Tangail, two suspected militants were shot dead when they fired on RAB personnel during a raid on a house.

Later on Saturday, a man died at Dhaka's Savar of injuries after jumping from a five-storey building during a RAB-led raid.

Police have identified the man as Abdur Rahman Ainal and said he was the 'key financier' of Neo JMB.
