Syed Ashraf says Chinese President Xi Jinping to tour Bangladesh 'soon'
Public Administration Minister Syed Ashraful Islam has said that Chinese President Xi Jinping is slated to tour Bangladesh soon.

The Awami League general secretary was speaking at a Samyabadi Dal event to mark the 67th anniversary of the Chinese Revolution at the BMA Auditorium at Topkhana Road in Dhaka on Saturday.
The minister, who is back from an August tour to China, said that the relations between the two countries date back to ancient times and added that the visit by the Chinese president would only strengthen the old ties.
Speaking as the chief guest at the event, Chinese embassy Counsellor (political) Yang Xau Hui said China was always with the government of Bangladesh in matters of development and hoped that the relation between the two nations will yield more creative ideas.
