New deputy commissioners appointed in Brahmanbarhia, Thakurgaon
The government has appointed new deputy commissioners (DC) for Brahmanbarhia and Thakurgaon districts.

The public administration ministry issued an order in this regard on Monday.
Deputy Secretary Rezwanur Rahman, an OSD attached to the health ministry, has been made the Brahmanbarhia DC and Md Abdul Awal, a deputy secretary at the Prime Minister's Office, the Thakurgaon DC.
Thakurgaon's current DC Mukesh Chandra Biswas has been made a director at the National Housing Authority and Brahmanbarhia's incumbent DC Md Mosharraf Hossain a director at the Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK).
The government on Aug 23 also appointed new DCs to 14 more districts.
