Suspected robber killed in 'shootout' with RAB in Khulna
A suspected robber has been killed in a so-called shootout with the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Koyra Upazila of Khulna.

RAB-6 Director Additional DIG Khandker Rafiqul Islam claimed the 'gunfight' took place at Fultola in the Upazila around 8am on Friday.
He identified the deceased as Abu Bakkar Sardar alias Bakkar, who Islam claimed was the head of a gang of Sundarbans-based robbers known as 'Saijja Bahini'.
He claimed a RAB team had gone to Fultola after learning that Bakkar and his accomplices had gathered there.
"The robbers opened fire immediately after seeing the RAB personnel there. A gunfight ensued when RAB officials retaliated. Bakkar's body was found at the scene after the other robbers fled."
Rafiqul Islam said a rifle, a gun, two machetes and some live bullets were also recovered from the scene.
