It says the ‘discriminatory and unacceptable’ time constraint will embolden anti-cultural forces
Police said that the incident took place at the early hours of Tuesday at the capital’s Khilgaon area.
The attackers, armed with sharp weapons, barged in to a makeshift accommodation for the guards at the site, said local police OC Mainul Islam.
“The five security guards were rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where 45-year-old Abdus Sattar died early morning,” he said.
Another guard is still being treated at the hospital while the rest three received first aid, said police.
OC Islam said that attack was an outcome of previous feud between contractors for developing the site.
