Hasina writes to Merkel, condemns Munich shooting
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has condemned the shooting in a Munich shopping centre.

In a message to German Chancellor Angela Merkel, she said she was “deeply shocked and grieved” by the incident, according to the Prime Minister's Office.
The shooting rampage has left nine people dead and many more injured,
“I, along with the people and the Government of Bangladesh, strongly condemn this horrific act of violence and stand in solidarity with the people and the Government of Germany,” read the letter.
“We share the pain of the families and friends of those affected. Our thoughts are with the victims and the families in distress for losing the loved ones.”
The prime minister also expressed her “deepest” condolences to the chancellor and the people of Germany.
