Shahriar Alam meets India’s new minister MJ Akbar
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam has met his new Indian counterpart MJ Akbar and discussed issues of mutual interest.

Akbar, a journalist-turned-politician, was recently appointed State Minister for External Affairs.
The foreign ministry said Alam was in New Delhi to attend the seventh ‘BIMSTEC Business Forum’ on Thursday.
He saw Akbar after the BIMSTEC meeting.
