The unauthorised establishments include restaurants, hotels, educational institutions and hospitals, RAJUK Chairman M Bajlul Karim Chowdhury told bdnews24.com on Sunday.

He said the authorities finalised a list of 552 illegal entities in Gulshan, Banani and Baridhara.

“The course of action against these organisations will be decided after the list is submitted to the ministry,” he added.

Housing and Public Works Minister Mosharraf Hossain told bdnews24.com on Thursday that the unapproved establishments in these areas will have to relocate within three months.

The government last week decided to shut down schools, colleges, hotels, restaurants and hospitals operating without permission in Dhaka’s Gulshan residential area in view of the July 1 terrorist attack on a cafe there.
