Workers of Savar RMG factory agitate for wages, festival allowances
Workers at a readymade garment factory at Dhaka’s Savar has demonstrated for unpaid wages and festival allowances.

Police said that workers of Jalal Ahmed Knit Composite Ltd started demonstrating from Thursday morning.
Over 200 demonstrators tried to block the Dhaka-Aricha Highway but the police stopped them, said Industrial Police’s Sub Inspector Mukul Mohan Kundu.
No one from the factory management was available for comment.
