"I want to tell everyone that I'm in big trouble. I am also getting irritated. I am frequently asked about the roads on Facebook and Twitter. I just replied to one," he said on Thursday.

He was speaking at the Secretariat on the sidelines of two expressway inauguration events.

He clarified that the roads within the two city corporations in the capital are the jurisdiction of the individual city corporations.

Quader said the road beneath the Mayor Hanif Flyover and the Malibagh-Mouchak flyover has him in a spot with everyone shooting a barrage of questions at him.

"I have no responsibility," the minister said.

The minister said that two vital roads would be inaugurated by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on July 2.

The Dhaka-Chittagong and Joydebpur-Mymensigh national highways would be the prime minister's "Eid gift to the people".
