Deputy Attorney General Motahar Hossain placed their plea and the district administration’s investigation report before the court on Thursday.

Later, the court documented the local administration’s findings and set the new date for police to submit the report.

The Narayanganj deputy commissioner had submitted the new report on the district administration's steps over the incident by offering apology to the court, as the High Court found the first report 'careless'.

The headmaster of Piyar Sattar Latif High School, Bhakta was assaulted by a mob and made to do sit-ups holding his ears by local MP Salim Osman for alleged blasphemy on May 13.
