France alumni platform launched in Bangladesh

Ambassador of France Sophie Aubert has officially launched the France alumni platform in Bangladesh at a reception at her residence in Dhaka.

The embassy said former French scholarship holders, representatives of different companies and ‘friends of France’ joined the launching on Tuesday.

About 300,000 foreign students choose France for their higher education every year.

This makes France the world’s third largest host country after the US and the UK and the first as non-English speaking country, according to the embassy.
