Comilla court sentences 14 to life imprisonment for 1999 murder of a man
A Comilla court has sentenced 14 men to life in prison for killing a man 17 years ago.

Additional District and Sessions judge M Ali Ahmad delivered the verdict on Monday in the case started over the murder of Motiur Rahman Kabul in 1999.
Three of the convicts are on the run.
The court also acquitted one accused and exempted five others who have died during the case proceedings from the charges.
According to case details, the accused killed Kabul and dumped his body on the side of a road at Sadar Dakkhin Upazila early on Mar 21, 1999, over a bad blood.
His father initiated the murder case against 20 people including the convicts.
Police submitted chargesheet accusing the 20 in April 2000.
