Five women Ansar drowned in Kishoreganj boat capsize
Five Ansar personnel, all women, were drowned after the boat carrying them capsized in Kishoreganj's Ghorautra River.

The mishap occurred near the Mithaimoin town around 5am on Sunday, said local police OC Alamgir Hossain.
The dead have been identified as ‘Momena’, ‘Sabina’, ‘Beauty’, ‘Hasina’ and ‘Ambia’, he said, adding that all of them were aged between 35 and 40 years.
OC Hossain told bdnews24.com that the boat was carrying about 100 passengers, many of them Ansars on poll duty, from Mithaimoin to Nikli.
"The boat sank soon after it left Mithaimoin under weight of too many passengers. Most of them could swim to safety but the five could not," he said.
