12-year old house help dies after alleged torture by employers in Dhaka
An underage house help has died allegedly after being tortured by her employers at Mohammadpur in Dhaka.

Hasina Akter, 12, from Mymensingh, died in Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Friday.
Mohammadpur Police Station Inspector Alam Munshi told bdnews24.com there were marks of wounds on her body.
Quoting Hasina’s mother Salma Begum, he said the mother, who worked in the house of a woman ‘Liza’ in Kathpatti, had sent her to work in her place when she fell sick.
An unidentified youth took her to the hospital providing fake addresses on May 20, he said.
Munshi said Salma had started a case against Liza and her husband over the incident.
The accused were on the run, he added.
