AMM Forhad appointed ambassador to Iraq
The government has appointed a former joint secretary, AMM Forhad, as the next ambassador of Bangladesh to Iraq.

The foreign ministry on Wednesday said the BCS Administration cadre officer “left marks of an efficient civil servant” in different capacities he worked before.
Forhad served at the civil aviation and public works ministries. He also worked as a deputy commissioner of Kishorganj district.
He studied history at Dhaka University.
