Wife, three others get death for 2010 murder of Pirojpur man
A Pirojpur court has ordered death sentences for four, including the victim’s wife for the murder of a man.

In 2010, Manik Majhhi was hacked to death by his wife Sheuly Begum and her associates.
Both sons of the couple had testified against their mother in court.
In its verdict delivered on Wednesday, the court of Pirojpur’s District and Sessions Judge also slapped a Tk 50,000 fine on each.
Public Prosecutor Md Alauddin said that the wife and three of her accomplices killed Majhhi on the night of May 25, 2010.
He said that the couple’s two sons testified in court.
