One killed in bus-car collision in Dhaka, two others injured
A road crash at the capital’s Gabtoli has left one person dead.

Police said that a bus and a car collided around 10:45am on Tuesday leaving two others, including a rickshaw-puller injured.
The dead has been identified as ‘Hannan.’ He was a manager in a restaurant, his employer Joynal Abedin confirmed.
Hannan was rushed to the Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital before being shifted to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), where the doctors declared him dead, said Abedin.
A rickshaw-puller, identified as Md Shamim, was also brought to the DMCH with injuries sustained in the crash, said the hospital police outpost’s Nayek Rafiqul Islam.
Another person was also reported to be injured in the crash. But local police OC Md Selimuzzaman could not confirm his identity and where he was being treated.
