Septuagenarian killed over land dispute in Joypurhat
A seventy-year-old man has been murdered over land dispute at Joypurhat’s Kalai Upazila.

Three persons have been injured when the agitated relatives of the septuagenarian set fire to the house of a man accused of the murder.
The murder took place at Upazila’s Aplaparha village on Saturday noon, said Kalai police OC Sirajul Islam.
Yakub ALi, the adversary of the victim Solaiman Ali, hit the latter with a stick on the head following a feud over land, said OC Sirajul.
He died on the way to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.
Police arrested Yakub Ali, Mahfuzur Rahman and Mahfuzur Rahman from the scene said the OC.
