Bangladesh High Commission in London marks Language Martyrs’ Day

Bangladesh High Commission in London has organised a discussion meeting to mark the International Mother Language Day at its premises.

Eminent journalist Abdul Gaffar Chowdhury, the lyricist of the immortal song, ‘Amar Bhaier Rokte Rangano Ekushey February, Ami Ki Bhulite Pari (Can I forget the twenty-first of February/ incarnadined by the blood of my brother?), was the keynote speaker.

High Commissioner Md Abdul Hannan, Vice-Chancellor of Khulna University Prof Fayek Uzzaman, senior officials of the mission and renowned members of the ethnic community were also present.
