The injured -- Al Amin, 22, and Mosharraf Hossain, 30 -- were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 12:30pm, Inspector Mozammel Haque of the hospital police camp rtold bdnews24.com.
Al Amin was shot in the waist and Mosharraf in both his arms, he added.
The two were employed by AID, a distribution company that works for mobile financial service provider bKash, near Mirpur-14 Bus Stop.
Zainal Abedin, manager of AID, said muggers waylaid the two while they were returning to the office after collecting the money from bKash sales agents in front of the Police Staff College around 10:30am.
“Some youths blocked their way, fired some shots at them and fled with Tk 1.3 million.”
