BSMMU appoints Abdul Hannan new registrar
Prof ABM Abdul Hannan has been appointed as the new registrar of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University.

The university said the vice-chancellor appointed this former director (medical education) of the Directorate General of Health Services on Thursday.
A professor of surgery, Hannan retired recently from government service.
In his long career, he had been the Director of the Institute of Public Health, Principal of Rajshahi Medical College and the Dean (Faculty of Medicine) of Rajshahi University from 2009 to 2011.
He also served as the director of the Centre for Medical Education (CME), among others.
