Shibchar mayor’s son among three held with Yaba in Dhaka
A mobile court has sentenced three persons, including a son of Shibchar Municipality mayor, to different prison terms after they were arrested with Yaba pills from Shantinagar in Dhaka.

Police detectives arrested Md Sujayet Hossain Jemi, 26, son of Shibchar Municipality Mayor Abdul Latif, Md Rony, 28, and Md Nuruzzaman, from the parking lot on the basement of Eastern Plus shopping mall on Wednesday.
The detectives found 42 Yaba pills on them, Detective Branch Assistant Commissioner Nishat Rahman Mithun told bdnews24.com.
Jemi was sentenced to 15 days in prison while Rony and Nuruzzaman were awarded six-month jail terms.
