Sylhet BNP announces district and metropolitan committee
Sylhet BNP has announced their district and metropolitan level committees after the bi-annual conference.

Election Commissioner Nurul Haque said, the leaders of both committees were announced on Sunday noon, after a closed-door balloting earlier in the morning.
Abul Kaher Chowdhury Shamim and Ali Ahmad were respectively elected as the chairman and general secretary of the district committee.
Nasim Hossain and Badruzzaman Selim were respectively elected as the metropolitan committee chairman and general secretary.
A committee of 151 members will be set up before the national conference of BNP, EC Haque said.
The last Sylhet district level and metropolitan BNP council took place in 2009.
In 2014, both the committees were dissolved and a convener committee was formed.
