Mother, son hacked to death
Three people have been detained after a woman and her child were killed in Noakhali’s Subarnachar.

Lucky Rani Debnath, 22, and her son Hari Sennath, 2, were hacked to death in the early hours of Saturday, said Charjabbar Police Station OC Nizamuddin.
Police detained woman’s husband Sanjay Debnath and her in-laws - Dashrath Chandra Nath and Shapna Rani Nath.
Police said the couple used to fight frequently.
“Sanjay and his parents were handed over to the police after neighbours caught them trying to hide the bodies behind their house at dawn,” said OC Nizamuddin.
But police could not comment on how many of them were involved in the killings and hiding the bodies.
The bodies have been sent to Noakhali Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
OC Nizam said an investigation was underway and a case would soon be filed.
