She was at Gazipur’s Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Memorial KPJ Specialized Hospital with her personal staff on Friday.

The prime minister’s press wing said she went to the counter to register herself and paid the fee before proceeding to the first floor for the check-up by specialist doctors.

Hasina had herself chosen the hospital, which she had praised for its high-tech facilities, officials said.
The hospital, established in 2013, was the product of a joint initiative by Malaysian firm KPJ and the Bangabandhu Memorial Trust.
