Thai crown prince hails Bangladesh’s climate resilience

Thai Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn has praised Bangladesh’s resilience to natural disasters, and said Dhaka and Bangkok can work together on climate change issues.

Bangladesh ambassador to Thailand Saida Muna Tasneem called on the crown prince at the Ambara Royal Palace in Bangkok on Wednesday, the embassy said.

The ambassador invited the prince to visit Bangladesh.

She also presented a miniature silver rickshaw to the crown prince as a symbol of Bangladesh’s cultural heritage.

The Thai royal family is the patronage of Buddhist monasteries in Bangladesh.
