Three of a family killed in bus-car collision
Three of a family have died in a head-on collision between a bus and a private car at Munshiganj’s Shreenagar Upazila.

Md Shamsuzzaman of Munshiganj police said the accident took place at the Dhaka-Mawa Highway near the Upazila’s Keotkhali area on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Louhajangh Upazila’s Azhar Hossain Mridha, his wife Jahanara Begum and his sister Maksuda Begum.
The family’s house help Marium Begum and driver Korban Ali were critically injured. They were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
ASP Shamsuzzaman said, a Mawa-bound bus of Shwadhin Transportcollided head-on with a private car. The car crash left Mridha and his wife dead on the spot.
Maksuda succumbed to her injuries while locals were taking her to hospital.
Police detained the bus, but the driver managed to flee.
