Ferry operations resumed around 10am.
At least three ferries, anchored in mid-river, resumed journey after conditions improved, he added.
During the winter, ferry services on the Shimulia-Kawrakandi and Paturia-Daulatdiya routes, which connects the southern part of the country with Dhaka, often snap for several hours a day due to fog.
