Three arrested with arms from Chittagong-bound bus
Police have arrested three persons with fire arms from a bus in Chittagong’s Chandanaish Upazila.

They were arrested from a Chittagong-bound bus of Unique Transports near the upazila’s Gachbarhia on Friday noon.
Chandanaish Police SI Kamal Hossain told bdnews24.com that a tip-off led them to halt and search the bus.
“We found three guns inside a bag they were carrying,” the SI added.
The arrested have been identified as Syed Amin, Kamal Hosen and Saiful Islam. All of them are from Cox’s Bazar.
SI Hossain said the trio were bringing the arms to Chittagong City.
“We suspect that they are involved in arms dealing,” he added.
