Four AL mayor candidates finalised in Chittagong North
The ‘final’ list of Awami League mayor contenders in four Chittagong municipalities has been submitted to the party high command.

The names of proposed AL candidates in the mayoral elections to Potia, Chandnaish, Banshkhali and Satkania municipalities were sent to the ruling party’s central nomination board in Dhaka on Monday, said Mofizur Rahman, general secretary of the Chittagong (North) chapter of the ruling party.
He told bdnews24.com that they have proposed Prof Harunur Rashid in Potia, Mahbubul Alam Khoka in Chandnaish, Selimul Haque Chowdhury in Banshkhali and Haji Mahmudur Rahman in Satkania.
The Chittagong (North) AL finalised the mayor candidates on Saturday night.
Dec 3 is the last for filing nominations for the Dec 30 polls to be held in 236 municipalities.
