RAB detains ‘missing’ Rangpur BNP leader in Lalmonirhat
A Rangpur BNP leader has been detained in Lalmonirhat by the RAB four days after he purportedly went missing.

The elite force detained Mozaffar Hossain, president of the BNP’s Rangpur city unit, in Mahendranagar area of Lalmonirhat Sadar Upazila early Tuesday and handed him over to police.
Mozaffar’s family earlier alleged that some RAB personnel in civvies had picked him up from his residence in Rangpur’s Shalbon area on Thursday night.
Assistant Sub-Inspector Aminul Islam of Lalmonirhat Sadar Police Station said, “A RAB-13 patrol spotted Mozaffar while he was roaming around Mahendranagar area around 4:30am. They detained him and handed him over to us in the morning.”
