Raujan prepares for burial of hanged war criminal Salauddin Quader
War criminal Salauddin Quader Chowdhury will be buried at his ancestral home at Chittagong’s Raujan, where he committed crimes against humanity during the 1971 Liberation War.

Police, RAB and APBN personnel stood guard beside the family graveyard of Salauddin Quader Chowdhury at Gohira village on Saturday night.
A relative of BNP leader Salauddin said a grave was being dug for him next to his brother Saifuddin Quader Chowdhury’s grave.
Some people were seen chopping woods in front of Salauddin’s house Baitul Bilal.
No mishaps were reported from the municipality area until 9pm.
Local Awami League leaders, however, said they would not let Salauddin’s body into Raujan.
Raujan Upazila Awami League President Shafikul Islam said the ruling party activists took position at the entries to the municipality to prevent Salauddin’s body from entering it.
The BNP leader was hanged at Dhaka Central Jail at 12:45am on Sunday for the crimes against humanity he committed during the 1971 Liberation War.
