Robbers kill trader in Brahmanbarhia
A local trader has been killed by robbers in Nabinagar Upazila of Brahmanbarhia, police say.

The dead has been identified as Chhoton Saha, 40, son of Nikhil Saha of Majhiara village. He used to deal in building materials in a local market.
“A group of robbers swooped on Chhoton’s house on early Friday and hacked him to death, tied up his wife, and fled with cash and jewellery,” Nabinagar police OC Md Imtiaz Ahmed told bdnews24.com.
The family could not given any indication of the amount of cash and jewellery robbed, police said.
The body has been taken to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
