Officials at the prime minister’s office and the foreign ministry told bdnews24.com that the tour, which was to begin from Nov 29, was cancelled.

She also cancelled her Malta visit where heads of commonwealth countries will convene before the Paris gathering.

No specific reason was mentioned as to why she has decided not to join the summit wherein some 120 heads of state and government are expected to gather on Nov 30.

But officials said the decision was taken considering the overall situation at home and in Europe.

War criminals Salauddin Quader Chowdhury and Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid will be executed anytime soon as the legal battle has been completed.

The prime minister earlier cancelled her Paris tour on Nov 16 following terrorist attacks.

She was scheduled to attend Unesco 'Leaders' Forum' there.

Paris is still reeling from those attacks. It has cancelled civil societies’ rallies during the climate summit on security ground.
