Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has cancelled her visit to Malta.

She was slated to attend the commonwealth head of governments meeting from Nov 25 to Nov 29 there.
bdnews24.com has obtained a letter of the visit’s cancellation.
The foreign ministry also called off Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali’s scheduled press briefing on Thursday on the visit due to “unavoidable circumstances”.
The decision came after the Supreme Court upheld the death sentences of war criminals Salauddin Quader Chowdhury and Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid.
They can be executed anytime soon as the legal battle has been completed.
