Two died as bus rams into autorickshaw at Dhaka’s Kakrail

A bus lost control and crashed into a three-wheeler on Thursday killing its two passengers and leaving the driver critically injured.

The accident happened around 4:30am near the Rajmoni Isha Khan Hotel in Kakrail, said police.

The dead has been identified as Rubel Hossain, 28 and Ashik Hossain, 25 from Dhaka’s Dohar Upazila.

The autorickshaw driver Firoz Mia, 40, has been taken to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).

DMCH police outpost’s Inspector Mozammal Haque told bdnews24.com that the bus lost control and hit the autorickshaw before ramming into a boundary wall of the Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training office at Kakrail.

Police rushed the three to the hospital, when the doctors declared two dead.
