HC bans unfit vehicles from plying on roads, orders seizure of fake driving permits
The High Court has ordered unfit vehicles to go off the road and the seizure of fake driving licences used by more than 1.87 million drivers in the country.

It also ordered steps to be taken against the users in accordance with the law.
The bench of justices Quazi Reza-Ul Hoque and Abu Taher Md Saifur Rahman gave the suo moto ruling on Monday after taking cognizance of a newspaper report.
It also ordered the BRTA chairman to file a progress report on the implementation of the rules within 30 days and said the matter would be included in the causes list again on Sep 2.
