Shibir leader held in Dhaka with ‘bomb-making materials’
A leader of Jamat-e-Islami’s student wing has been arrested in Dhaka with bomb-making materials, say police.

Islami Chhatra Shibir activist Imran Hossain, 22, was detained from a house at the capital’s Khilket area on Wednesday night.
Hossain, a student of the Government Titumir College in Dhaka, is the general secretary of Shibir’s Khilket unit, said Khilkhet police OC Md Nazrul Islam.
“Over one kg of gunpowder, four kg of different types of chemicals and 70 crude bombs were found in his possession,” said the police officer.
