The accident in Rajshahi’s Paba Upazila leaves two other motorcyclists injured
They are among 727 rescued from the sea by Myanmar Navy.
Myanmar’s immigration department would hand them over to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a flag meeting along Ghumdhum border at 10:30am, BGB Cox’s Bazar 17 Battalion Commander Lt Col Md Robiul Islam said.
A 10-member BGB team led by Islam would attend the flag meeting.
According to him, Myanmar rescued 208 boat people on May 21. Of them, 187 were identified as Bangladeshis and brought back.
Myanmar also rescued 727 migration seekers on May 29. Of them, 155 were identified as Bangladeshis, Islam said.
