But because of the rain, those amusement hubs drew much fewer crowds than during previous Eids.

Meteorologist Hasan said the rainfall would prevail in almost all divisions.
Families that had left Dhaka to celebrate Eid in their village and town homes would start returning on Monday.
But they had no great cause for worry, as the wind was not strong enough to disrupt their journeys.
